What Is Truth to Power?

dedicated to bridging the gaps between governance and practice, technology and business, regulation and control, risk management and real market pressures, and your own knowledge and the knowledge of your peers.
built to create a common pool of knowledge—one big brain—that lets you work more efficiently, build technology and business practices more effectively, and endure audits more effortlessly.
a neutral hub through which you can reach many valuable information nodes, resource collections, and organizations that are helping people like you already, but in fractured ways.
against the idea that auditors, analysts, and consultancies can control information simply through their ability to collect and distill it. T2P's goal is to unlock the vast body of knowledge, insight, and conventional wisdom that we all have, make it freely available to you, and help you digest and interpret it—without undue cost, bias, or hype.

  • What is RSS?
RSS is a way for Web sites to syndicate (distribute) content. When you subscribe to T2P RSS feeds via a feed reader, you'll get automatic categorized updates of news and other content items. Each updated will include a headline, abstract, and links back to the full article on our site. Read more about RSS in Wikipedia.
  • How can I get T2P RSS feeds?
Many pages, such as the Cores, have RSS feed links directly on the page. These links are at the lower left side of the page. You can also subscribe to a sitewide RSS feed from the News Subscribe page.
  • What's in the feeds?
Feeds contain headlines, abstracts, and links to the referenced content on our site.
  • How often will I get them?
Content is pushed out through RSS as soon as it's published on the site, so you could get multiple feed items per day.
  • What format do your feeds use?
RSS 2.0, which is compatible with most popular feed readers.
  • Where can I get a feed reader?
Check the big list at Wikipedia.
  • Can I add your feeds to my own Web site?
Yes, generally. Truth to Power is all about sharing information; so, if you have a good-faith interest in IT, regulation, risk management, and governance may incorporate Truth to Power feeds in your site. You may not charge for access to our feed or modify any of the information in it, including branding or other citations. Please let us know if you're using the feed, too. We like to know who's reading us. And, of course, if we find out your abusing our feed, we'll make you take it down.
