What Is Truth to Power?

dedicated to bridging the gaps between governance and practice, technology and business, regulation and control, risk management and real market pressures, and your own knowledge and the knowledge of your peers.
built to create a common pool of knowledge—one big brain—that lets you work more efficiently, build technology and business practices more effectively, and endure audits more effortlessly.
a neutral hub through which you can reach many valuable information nodes, resource collections, and organizations that are helping people like you already, but in fractured ways.
against the idea that auditors, analysts, and consultancies can control information simply through their ability to collect and distill it. T2P's goal is to unlock the vast body of knowledge, insight, and conventional wisdom that we all have, make it freely available to you, and help you digest and interpret it—without undue cost, bias, or hype.

Answer

A lot of T2P resources are openly visible and freely available to nonmembers. However, most of T2P's most useful and valuable content, as well as community functions, are available to members only. Of course, those benefits are also free, in a way, since T2P membership has no cost.

This structure lets us provide several community benefits:

  1. Outstanding contributors and contributions can receive the positive recognition they deserve
  2. It's easier to develop more valuable education offers, service discounts, and other benefits based on community characteristics than on generic site traffic
  3. Members can track favorite content, data submissions, and other contributions via their profiles
  4. Familiarity and attribution encourage more productive communication and collaboration
  5. Members can interact with each other via T2P in ways that might be somewhat difficult to do directly
  6. Members benefit just from being members (after all, joining is free, plus you gen access to exclusive resources, plus can get free stuff for contributing)
  7. Community leaders are also community members
  8. Personal attribution (even at a high level) encourages more responsible, friendly interactions and contributions
So...short answer: no. But you can get a lot more out of T2P with membership. Look here for more on the benefits of membership or to join now.
